As heard on : “Grin & Bear It” by Honey Pot & The Grizzly Gang
Reason to buy : Kiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayo… Kiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayo… Day light comes and we want to…Oh wait a second, wrong song! Our mistake. No, in this application, “Kiaayo” is the Blackfeet translation for Bear. Yeah, that makes much more sense. Don't get us wrong, the dinner party scene from “Beetlejuice” is iconic but it's by no means a credible inspiration for an incredibly versatile overdrive pedal, is it? Anyway, what NativeAudio have brought to the metaphorical “tone party” (imagine what a bleak place that is) this time is a simple three knobbed drive pedal that can go from pushed "on the edge" clean tones all the way through to throaty, amp like drives, that absolutely nail your favourite 70's guitar sounds. It even works wonders as a boost into your already cranked amp, adding just the right amount of sweetness. Three knobs. Who knew?!
Reason not to buy : You'll start to wonder why all pedal manufacturers don't build products with knobs that are totally usable, right the way through their full sweep. This will keep you up at night…"but if NativeAudio can do it why can't everyone?". Eventually you'll find yourself protesting outside the headquarters and in some cases, personal residences of the aforementioned pedal makers, consumed in a spiral of your own hate. It'll be worth it though. Obviously.
Fun fact : Under no circumstances should you feed this pedal honey. Ever.
