As heard on : “Future Tense” by Rob Modulation & The Dirty Phase Station
Reason to buy : Here at Pedalboarders, we have very few “hard and fast” rules. One of the few that we do have is, “If a pedal ever resembles the Delorean's time circuit control panel from Back To The Future, then we must stock it, immediately and without question.” That brings us rather neatly onto the FUTURE FACTORY from Free The Tone. Honestly, have you ever seen a more exciting looking pedal? This is surely what we all dreamed of plugging our guitars into as wildly imaginative ten year olds? So what does it do? Well imagine two totally separate delays meeting at a party, chatting for hours, falling madly in love with one another and then modulating endlessly until the sun comes up. Throw in a frankly gratuitous amount of buttons and indicators and you have one of the most musically inspiring bits of technology to ever grace our pedalboard. Breathtaking.
Reason not to buy : If you are "au fait" with our work, then you'll know that this is the bit where we try and be witty about why you shouldn't buy a pedal using some glib and incredibly amusing comment. Not this time. It's too good. Buy it. For the love of all that is sacred. Buy it.
Fun fact : Modulated delay is considered to be the most attractive of all the delay varieties. Certain scientific communities theorise that it can increase your attractiveness to potential partners by up to 73%.
